Olefins is the PromaPlast division in charge of the following product lines: |
Family: PP
Description: Polypropylene
|
Polypropylene is one of the resins with the highest growth and versatility, offering the advantage of producing light-weight parts with resistance to heat and chemicals.
Their limitations are: low resistance to the impact of low temperature and difficulty of combining with adhesives or paint.
It offers a proper balance between properties and cost, which is not achieved with most of the thermoplastics.
It can be combined with a mineral fill such as powder, mica, fiberglass, to obtain a better performance. |
Family: PE
Description: Polyethylene
 |
UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight PE)
HDPE (high density PE)
HDXLPE (high-density cross-linked PE)
PEX (cross-linked PE)
MDPE (medium-density PE)
LDPE (low-density PE)
LLDPE (linear low-density PE)
VLDPE (very low-density PE) |
Family: EVA
